What does it mean to live life fully?

My answer to this has changed dramatically as these past few years have gone by. At one point I thought that it was saying yes to every opportunity and doing every crazy adventurous thing possible. I now have realized that in order to live fully, you have to accept that you cannot do everything. You must have peace with yourself and leave all anxiety behind you. Leaving it behind and every time you feel yourself reverting back to that worrying state of mind nipping it in the bud. To be fully present in every moment no matter what the circumstances might be. Appreciating every memory, every friendship that you see blossom, every sunrise and sunset that you get to experience, and all the little things in between. Choosing to grow from every failure instead of resenting and worrying about it. Letting go of caring what others think about you and surrendering it all to God. These are a few of the things I think of when I ponder what living fully truly looks like. The moments when I feel most present and alive are usually ones spent outside in nature, with friends and family, having deep conversations and opening up to people. There is something so meaningful about being able to whole heartedly trust another human being, it is a special and unique thing. Loads of people struggle with being able to open up to others, fearing that they will judge them or reveal their secrets to others. One of the main things about living fully in my opinion is letting all of that go. Not worrying about the what ifs, but focusing on the moment in front of you and not letting a moment slip away unappreciated. None of us are guaranteed tomorrow, so we must live each day as if it is are last. Reach out to that person who seems to be blocking everyone out, they are likely the ones most in need of a good friend. Wake up early to watch the sunrise, who knows if you'll see another one. Write that book, paint that masterpiece, learn that instrument, don't let this life slip by you. Embrace the uncertainty of life and don't put things off until tomorrow but start now while you still have breath in your lungs. Life is so precious and time is so limited, let's not forget that.
