Taking control of your thoughts and actions...

We have control over what we think and how we act. As much as we like to blame that time of the month or the situations we are in for how we are acting, the truth is it is always our fault. We are ultimately the ones responsible for ourselves and we absolutely do not have to give into the intense feelings we may be having. It is one things to control your thoughts and steer them in the right direction but molding your emotions to how you want them is quite the long process. It takes overruling your emotions and doing the right thing whether you want to or not over and over again.

Thinking positively even when you may feel quite grumpy and once you've been in control of your thoughts long enough, your emotions tend to follow suit. When you take the actions to go in the right direction, and don't let how you feel get in the way, in the long run you will be training your emotions to enjoy the things you used to hate. We are all works in progress and I'm pretty sure most of us have not reached our fullest potential, me especially. But this right here is one of the biggest things to overcome, and once we do so many other things will fall into place. We've got to understand the power we have over our emotions, thoughts and actions and actually put in the work and use that power. I believe we all can overcome this if we're willing to struggle with it until we overcome.
